All that we do…

Stewardship promotes how members of Doon Presbyterian Church can share time, talent and financial resources.

Our Purpose:

  • To encourage greater participation by all members of Doon Church
  • To support other committees (as needed) in Stewardship endeavours

Goals:

  1. Promote awareness of the Committees at Doon Church through a “Faith Family Food Fun” event
  2. Promote increased awareness of many ways in which the members/adherents of the Church are demonstrating Stewardship ie; time, talent and money
  3. Promote PAR, to help stabilize financial givings at Doon
  4. Facilitate an increased understanding of “pledging” financially to the church
  5. Explore other fundraising possibilities
  6. Support other committees (when possible)

Events and Projects-

Time & Talents events such as Faith, Family, Fun, Food on Sept. 17, the Consecrating Stewards program, and stewardship education with a special focus this year on the Sunday School children and exploring tithing.

Members and meeting times-

Members include John Baxter, Joanne Baxter, Inge Ford, Angus Sutherland and Catherine MacDonald.

Presently we meet every two months (September thru June) and we communicate between meetings as we work on our projects.
