Bible Text: John 20:1-18 | Preacher: Bev Wiens | Happy Easter Everyone!!
God’s blessings upon you, I hope you have a very meaningful Easter, in whatever way you celebrate it.  I have enjoyed working on this for you all, to embrace this very unusual Easter Morning.  I have included urls for all the music we would have sung and even put in a couple of choral anthems which fit the theme. May you gain something from the following service I had planned and have put down in my own words.  Here’s to the time when we will all worship together again!!  Bev Wiens

Prayers of Caring and Concerns

We bless you dear Lord, for giving us the grace and good health to gather in your name. You have provided us with all that we need to ensure that we are never lacking. Accept our worship in the holy name of Jesus. We pray as we continue today’s church service in our homes, that we will feel your presence among us all. During this very stressful time, our world is trembling with fear and trepidation. We want to believe that all will be well, and we, your children, will survive this challenge; to carry on with our worship of you and your son.  May we survive with a much more discerning attitude to most things. We have been very lack, Lord, and as a result our way of life is threatened; and we struggle to understand and to accept what you have planned for us.  We pray for all those in our congregation; family, friends and those who have yet to see your power, that we may always serve you and grow in you. We pray for those people who are suffering from illness, whatever it may be, give them your strength and your courage to continue to fight and become strong again. Our world is struggling, Lord, there has never been a time when we have needed your power, love and grace more – to guide and strengthen us as we continue to fight the good fight!  Be with us all as we continue to meet this new challenge. We pray all these things in the name of your son, Jesus Christ, who rose, to live again!! All glory and honour to His name!!  Amen!
